Fires at Invercargill

A threshing miil belonsing lo a Mr Sheehan, near Riversdale, was burned. Insured for £300. Incendiarism is suspected. The own Hall was burned down last nijjht. When the fire was first observed it had obtainded to great a hold to admit of anything being done. It was insured for £150 in the Royal. The safe was afterwards found unlocked among the ruins, and it is believed all the corporation records for the last seven years art> lost, together with Ihe valuation roll and rate books. Incendiarism is suspected and the police are enquiring.
