.» The Daily Factory. TO THE 1-DITOE OF THB STAE. Sib,— Can you tell me what has become of the proposed Feilding Cheese and Butter Factory ? Many like myself, who have pai<l deposits on shares in the concern, and never heard a single word more about it, would be glad to know whether the affair is likely to be floated. A similar scheme iv another township, which was not projected till after the one in question has already been started to the extent of putting up the buildings and securing the plant, &c, and this in a district certainly not more farorable for successfully carrying the affair out than our own. As it is probable you hare some knowledge of how the thing is going on, and is likely to turn out, perhaps you will have the goodness to throw a little light on the subject for the information of A Shabeholdeb. [Mr Bowron, the Government Lecturer will visit Feilding in a few days, wneu the arrangements for registering th» company will be completed.— E». P. B.}
