COMMERCIAL. PTO K SALE. Messrs Halcombe and Sherwill held a sale of stock at Feilding yesterday. A good number of cattle and sheep were yarded, bui although tiio attendnncr was fairly good, bidding *vas vry slo.v, and a good many oi lhe lots were passed in. The fallowing were the pries realised : — Fat cows, £1 (o £5 2s 6^' ; bullocks. £5 os ; steers, 2 year obi, £2 *Js 6d ; cows wiih calf £6 ; cows and imlVrmixed, i'~ 15s; heifers in profit. l'J« Gd : calves 2-7 s to 28s ; weaners UK Sheep, siore wethers 10s ; hoggets Gs Gd ; no fat wethers were sold.
