L ♦ (From our own Correspondent.) \ A well attended meeting of the memt ber 3 of St. Andrew's Church took placi after service on Sunday evening last foi the purpose of receiving the annua reports of the vestry and statement o: accounts, and electing churchwardens and vestry for the ensuing 12 months. Dr Frood was called to the c'>air, and after a few remarks with reference to th« general work of the district, called upon Mr Abraham to read the balance sheet 1 wich showed a satisfactory credit balance. ; There is still a debt of £60 on the Churcl 1 building, which it is belie red the new vestry will be able to liquidate during their term of office. Mr J. E. Harper [ was unanimously elected parishioners ■ churchwarden. Messrs Wicks, Frood, [ Mitchell, Nicholas, and Baddely were elected members of the vestry. The meeting endorsed the action of the vestrj ' in accepting the Bishop's proposal to add f Foxton to. this district, and to appoint a ' clergyman at once. It was unanimously s agreed that the seats in the Church i should be free. A vote of thanks was , passed to Dr Frood and Mr Abraham ; for their valuable services during the ' past year. This closed the proceedings.
