In the Police Court John Wheeler wns charged with making a disturbance at 1.30 a.m., by singing Salvation Army hymns and parodies, and generally behav : nv in a disorderly manner. The Bench were of opinion that offence had been committed. It was not to be supposed that eighteen or twenty young men could pnrndo thp town between one and two o'clock in t immorning singing, even though the nines might be hymns, to create a dis.'rb.uu-e. It, wasj not a serious offence, and defendant would be fined ten shillings or fortyeight hours' imprisonment. ,
