At the conclusion ~of the ceremony the brethren adioumed. -. >' — After-the installation a ball was held in the Town Hall. The music was under the direction of Mr King, of Wanganui, and, as usual, gave - perfect satisfaction. Bro Hector Booth was master of cere- , monies. The caterers, Messrs Summers and Co., were eminently successful in carrying out their part of the proceedings. The hall was beautifully decorated with Masonic emblems, supported by an abundance of ferns. &c, which gave the j room a^pleasantand picturesque appear- ' ance. Dancing commenced at 9.30 pm. fond, continued s until, about 3 a.m. the morning. Upwards of 60 couples were present,^ and the assembly wash, brillianfone.
