FIJIAN*NEVVS. OUTBREAK OF CHOLERA AND SMALL-POX. bbutbb's tklegkams. Stdnbt, July 12. Latest advices to hand from Fiji report that on the 30th ultimo a number of sailors and coolies who were detained in quarantine at Suva snececded in effecting their escape. All, however, were recaptured, and had do communition with the natives of the island. Received July 12, 0 15 a.m. Sydnet, July 13. A proclamation has been issued to-day declaring the various ports of China and Fiji infected places, and all vessels coming therefrom are to be placed in quarantine. Melbourne, This Day. The Argus has dispatched Julian Thomas (tho vagabond) to report on New Hebrides. A quarantine has been established here for vessels from Fiji, in consequence of a report that small pox, cholera, and measles are prevalent there.
