THIS DAT. _ «~ (Before D. H. Macarthur, Esq., J.P.) ASSAULT CASE. Jensen r Fergussen. — James Fergusson was charged on the information of Jens Jesper Jensen (both of Halcombe) that he did, on the 9th instant, at Halcombe, unlawfully and indecently assault a certain female named Eliza Jensen, and did then and there illtreat the said Eliza Jensen,contrary to the form of the statute, in such case made and provided, the same beinz an indictable offence. The evidence not being fully prepared, the case was remanded till to-morrow at the ordinary sitting of the Court. The Court then adjourned.
