Borough Council Reports.
TO the editor of the stab. Sib. — The Feilding reporter of the Advocate in his letter avoids -the question as to the publication of the tenders. I still maintain, that they ought not to have been made public. He attempts to justify his absence from some of the meetings of public bodies of late, by accusing me of similar neglect of my employers' interests, an/i also by making a most wilful misstatement as to the source of 50 per cent of your reports .. of the meetings of local . bodies. His attempt at a display of erudi- - , tion by teaching me what I kneirjjjp years before my youthful friend saw daylight, would be unworthy of notice if it...-., were not so very amusing to Your Reporteb.
