Mr Shannon has canvassed the business people of Marton to ascertain the amount of support, which would be offered to an outside insurance company if the associated companies refuse to re-insure at old rates. He obtained promises of insurance for £25,000 at a reasonable rate. Auckland, This Day. Mary Brooks has been arrested for stealing flowers from graves in the cemetery.
