[PER UNITBD PEEBS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, June 19. The business of the Council was of a routine character. June 20. The Address in Reply was moved by the Hon. Mr Brandon, and seconded by the Hon. Mr Barnicoat. The debate that followed was of a formal character. Sir Geo. Whituiore considered the proposal to make the Council elective, an insult to its members. The debate was ad j ourned.
