Borough Finance Report.
The following report of the Feilding Borough Finance Committee was read and adopted at the meeting of the Council on Thursday evening : — Your committee have to report that in accordance with instructions from the Council they have made arrangements with the Librarian to open the Library for the issue of books from 7 to 8 on I Saturday evenings, in addition to the usual hours at an extra charge of 2s, the arrangement to be temporary. Tbe following accounts are passed as correct, and are recommended for payment. : V : '. Feilding Hall Company, hire of hall. £1 12 i; Wanganui Hospital, subsidy, and maintenance of patients, £6 16s % W. G. Haybittle, stores, 7s; G. Crichton, do, ,7s 7d; E.Turner, bill posting, ss ; J. Belfit, carting metal, fto., £3 17s 3d ; R. r Lankshear, wages, £4 14s 6d; C. Green, do, £6 2s; Kirton and Curtis, advertising, £15 16s : do, printing, £2 17s 6A-, J. L. Kirk bride, advertising, 10s; G. C. Hill, salary, £8 16s ; do, engineering, £2 Is ; E. D. Beaufort, salary as Librarian, and lighting and cleaning offices, £2 4s. Total £55 6s 4d. Hugh L.
