Alleged Fraudulent Bankruptcy.
At the. Resident 'Magistrate's Court, Wanganui, on Thursday last, L.L. Levy, Commission Agent; was committed for fraudulent bankruptcy. The charge was that he had within foot" months of hi* bankruptcy, consigned to nimseif or his wife property available for the benefit of his creditors to tne value t oif £10, such action being a misdemeanour under the Fraudulent Debtors' Act, 1875. Defeat dant was admitted to bail, himself in £100, and two sureties of £50 eaoh. The bail being forthcoming, defendant was liberated.
