STEVFNS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.

At our stock sale held at Feilding on Tuesday last there were about 200 head of cattle and 800 sheep yarded. Nearly the whole of the cattle sold at the following prices :— Beef, £7; two year old rteers, £2 17s 6d to £3 5s ; two year old heifers, £1 17s 6d to £2 7s 6d ; store cows, £2 10s to £3 2s 6d ; good milch cows, £4 15s to £6 ; weanvrs, £1 Is to £1 12s 6d. Sheep— nearly the whole were passed in, as the reserves were slightly higher than the purchasers were willing to give, but the nominal quotations are, fat ewes. 9s 6d ; ewes in lamb, 88 ; 4 and 6- tooth ewes, 12s ; store wethers. 2-tootb, 9s 6d. Homes — A good number came forward, most of which sold under the hammer at from £3 15s to £8 for hacks. Wkllingtox, May 30 George Thomas reports product' prices this week as follows :— Oats, dull at 2s 5d to 2s 7d with only local enquiry. Flour. £11 10s ; bran, £4 1O» ; nollnrd. £5 15s ; oatmeal, £13 10s to £14 ; maize, 4s 3d ; wheat, 3» 6dto3s9d ; hums, lid; bacon, B£d ; cheese, 6Jd to 7d ; butter, lOd ; chuff, £4. A well assorted shipment of Hobjirt and Nelson fruit was submitted at the produce sale this morning, but t]\e market being quite overstocked prices were not satisfactory, and in most ouses did not cover invoice rates.
