«r In a recent issue, we made some strictures on the conduct of the Advocate's Feilding correspondent, in connection with reports of meetings which have appeared in our columns, relating to the Feilding State School. At the time of writing we had reason to believe our remarks were duly warranted, but subsequent enquiries have proved to us that we were partly in error in our report of Mb J. C. Thompson's remarks at the third committee meeting. As a matter of honour, and in accordance with journalistic etiquette, we make the amende honorable to the writer alluded to in our previous notice. The whole of the committee have acknowledged the accuracy and impartiality of our several reports, but in the particular instance we hare named we were inadvertently misled.
* The Fkilding Stab will not be published on Thursday next, Ving tbe anniversary of her Majesty's birthday.
