A Cure for Asthma.
«. . A native, named [Jru te Angina, seems to have hit upon a successful cure for asthma, a disease to which people of his race are but too subject . The remedy is of a vegetable nature, but whether the herb is used internally or exterrally, or whetber its fumes nre inhaled, Uru declines to tell, though he has been interrogated on the subject by more than one number of tbe faculty' At Wangaebu this Maori herbalist is reported to have effected some astonishing cures.
