» [per united press ASSOCIATION.J . Palmkbston Nobth, May 21. A man named Charles Manson; 24 years of age, jumped into the Manawatu River ten chains below the Gorge Bridge on Saturday afternoon. He was only married about three months ago, and was in comfortable circumstances. The body has not yet been recovered.
