NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting held on May Ist, 1883, the following resolution was passed : — " That the bye-law relating to goats and piers running at large, be adopted, and steps be taken to have them gazetted in accordance with law." Bye-law No. IV.. " The owner ot any pig or goat found running at lar»e, shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay any sum not exceeding £2,. and . not less than 10s, for every pig or goat so found running at l;>rge, to be recovered in the manner provided by the 208 th section of the Counties Act, 1876."
