Alleged Murder at Cheviot.
[PRE UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.! Dunedin, This Day. The Daily Times correspondent at Roxburgh teleuraphs that the body of a man has been found nt a creek -between Aloa Flat nnd the Pomahaka River, in the Cheviot di.-tict. It s stated t at the body was covered with stones, and . the head had apparently been cho ped off and placed near the feet. Jt is 1 elieved that the man was murdered, and -his clothes buried. It is surmised that an HttemriK was nude- to hum the body. The po ice have gone to the spot.
