I>UBLIC NOTICE is hereby -ivon . that the Manchester Load Board proposes to construct the following roads, or parts thereof, within the Manchester 1-ioad District, under the provisions of the Roads and Bridges Construction Act, 1882, relating to District ifoads, viz.-— 1. Ulysses', Jones', Makara, Bunnyth rpe, Whibley's, Pohan^ina, Man»aoue, Junction, Valley and Midland, Wilson's Spur and Taonui. The estimated cost thereof is £18,033 2s 6d. 2. '1 he amount of payment required on the above is £1.623 annually tor 15 years, and the amount of special rate ratified to meet this is one and one-sixth of a penny in the H on the rateable value of property within the Manchester Road District. 3. The plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost of the proposed wori s may be seen at the office of the Manchester Road Board during ordinary office hours. 4. The Poll for or against the above special rate will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 13th day of June, 1883, at the Road Board Office, Feilding ; Hussell's board-iug-bouse, Ashurst, and the Corporation Office, Halcombe.
