Flour, £12 ; oatmeal, £14 to £14 10s p< r ton ; wheat, 3s to 4>s ; potatoes, £3 15s to £4 per ton ; oats, 2s 6d to 2s 8d ; maize. 4s 9d to ss ; cheese, 6d ; bams and bacon (Canterbury) 8d to lOd ; countrycured, 6d ; fresh butter, 9d to lOd perlb ; salt butter (first-class), lOd ; eggs. 2s 6d to 2s 9d per dozen; onions, new, £5 10s to £6 per ton. Chbistchubch, May 1. The grain market continues very quiet, and prices remain the same. Prime qualities of Tuscan are worth 4s 5s to 4s 6d f.o.b. at Lyttelton. Other wheats 4s 3d to 4s 4d; secoud samples, 3s lOd to 4s. Flour is quoted at £11 to £11 10s per ton; oatmeal at £14 per ton. Oats — Prices are quoted at 2s ld to 2s 2d for milling, and 2s to 2s ld for feed samples. For barley the prices offered are 4s 4s to 4s 7d. Cheese is quoted at 5d to s£d per Ib; butter (fresh), 10£<» tolled. Hams and bacon in cloth, 8d to 9d ; potatoes, £3 to £3 5s per ton ; onions, ld to 2d per lb. Bye grass seed at 3s 6d to 3s 9d ; cocksfoot 3id to 3fd.
