Wellington, April 28. Hasell and Co report but very little a'teration iv prices of produce since last quotation. A parcel of very inferior oats sold on the wharf on Saturday at 2s 3d net cash. A large quantify of damaged fowls' wheat is being offered, but farmers are asking higher rates than buyers feel disposed to give; we quote 3s to 3s Gd. The new crop of maize is now coming to hand, for which we quote 4s 6d per bushel. Derwent potatoes, £3 to £4 per ton; a large quantity is offceing, but many samples are of very inferior quality.
