• beuteh's telegrams. London, April 27. Nearly half a ton of nitro-glycerine has been seized in London already. Government has taken action in looking to an amendment of the law in regard to the possession of explosives. Sir W. Harcourt, the Home Secretary, announced in the House of Commons, on April 7th that he would introduce a Bill to that effect. The announcement was received with cheers. Received May 1, 12.45 p.m.] London. April 30. James Fifzharris, another Phoenix Park prisoner, was brought up for trial to-day, at Dublin, and the case is still proceeding. ■• In the House of Commons to-day, Trevelyan, Chief Secretary for Ireland, stated that widespread conspiracy to murder had been discovered •in County Clare, in West Ireland, and Executive hoped to be able to completely unmask the whole plot.
