a(PEE UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION- 1 Wanganui, This Day. Jowett, for indecent assault, was this morning sentenced to seven years with hard labor and 25 lashes with " cat." Thomas, for manslaughter, was sentenced to one month without hard labor. The case against Jenkins, assault with intent, is now ]j>roceoding.
