STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT.
Messrs Stevens and Gorton held a sale of stock, at their yards, Feilding, on the 21th inst. About _00 head of cattle and 750 sheep were yarded. The.attendance of buyers was rather limited and the bidding was riot brisk. However,' the whole of the lots were quitted at and after the sale-at the following prices:---' Beef, light, £6; 2-year-old steers, £2 8s 6d to £2 15s;. 3 year-old stacrs, £3 12s lid to £_ ; wraners, £1 7s ; yearlings, £1 \ss to -£2 Cs 6d ; dry cows, £2'sst6 £3 ;' milch cows land calve?, £3 10s to 1 £4. fat ewes and wethers, mixed, 10s Od"; fat men'nn owes, 8s (jd; stole ewes^ fs 9d t<> 8-s KM; sore wethers, 9s 3d. 1 Torses, few were offered and some sod at from £4 10- to £8 10s.
