Meeting of Creditors.
A meeting of the creditors in the estate of John Gower, of Halcombe, farmer, was held yesterday afternoon at the Courthouse, Wanganui. The statement of assets and liabilities has already been published. The meeting was called to assent to a deed of arrangement dated sth April, the trustees being Mr Albert Barns and Mr E. : T; Abraham, manager of the Bank of Now Zealand at BullSj and the property being assigned for the benefit of creditors.- There were present, at the meeting— Messrs F. R. Jackson . (who was appointed chairman). 'Sh'erwilly Barnsi Barnicoatj and , Abraham. , .The following -proofs, of debt were handed in : .
