Kruger, one of the Triumvirate appointed in December, 18S0, pending the selection of a President of the Transvaal, has been elected to the Presidential office. Received April 24, 2.15 p.m.] Melbourne. Tin's Day A fall of stone occurrd in E lenborough mine, at Eagle-hawk, last night. Five men were buried in the debris. Two were crushed to death, and the other three were rescued seriously injured. The trustees of the Melbourne library decided in favor of opening that institution on Sundays. Obituary— Mr R. Clarke. Adelaide, This Day. The South Australian agricultural returns for the past season show that the yield of wheat was 750,000 bushels below last. year. Total yield, 7,350,000 bushels, of which 3-,650,000 are available for export, being the smallest quantity during the past 12 years.
