Wang-anot, This Day. Freeman R. Jackson reports : — Fat cows, £5 6s to £5 15s ; steers, £3 12s 6d to £i ss ; cows, £2 fis ; weaners, 235. Sheep — Fat ewes, lis 2d; 2-tooth ewes in lamb, lis 3d ; store ewes, 9s 4d to 9s 9d. No lambs offered. Pigs — Fat pigs, 20s to 30s ; porkers, 13s to 14s ; suckers, 5s 28 to 7s. Bulls. April 17. Messrs Stevens & Gorton report : — At our stock sale held here to-day the following prices were realized : — Yearlings to eighteen-months, 82s 6d ; weaners £2 ; cows, £3 58 to £4; merino ewes and wethers, mixed 7s ; store ewes, 7s 6d to 10s ; lambs, 2s lld to fis ; pigs. 3s 6d to 28s 7d ; hacks, from £5 to £10. 3,000 sheep were offered for sale.
