At our monthly sale, held at Palmerston on Tuesday last, there we about 200 head of cattle and 2000 sheep yarded, which sold at the following prices : — Beef, £6 18s ; store bullocks, £4 15s to £4 10s; young cattle, £2 to £2 10s ; milch cows, £3 to £4 ; fat sheep, 9s to lis 3d ; store ewes, 6s to 9s ; lambs, 3s to 3s 9d.
