George Thomas reports produce as follows : — Oats show no alteration, and still rule from 2a 5d to 2s 8d ; flour has a tendency to advance, and may now be quoted af £11 15s; fowls' wheat, according to quality, from 2s 8d to 3s 8d ; pollard. £5 10s; bran, £-i 10s ; potatoes are in fair demand at £4; chuff, £4; oatmeal, £14 to £14 10s ; onions, £5 10s to £(J ; cheese, (lid. The fruit market was exceedingly quid this morning, and great difficulty was experienced in clearing cooking apples at 4s ; pears ruled from 5s to 7s; quinces, lUI to 2d; eggs, a small lot realised 2s" Gd ; fowls, 3s 6d ; oucks, 4s ; butter, in kegs, 9d. 11l 111 II I I II I I lill HI II II 111 1111 !*■!!
