It is believol that the dynamite which has been seized, in the possession of the several persons recenily arrested, was intended for widespread explosions in Loudon. Search which has been made of Whitehead's factor}- at Birmingham, which was seized on thc sth, has disclosed tlie material for a wholesale manufacture of nitro-glycerine. In consequence of recent discoveries at Birmingham, a detachment of troops has been sent to join thc garrisone I there. Two men, Casey and Flanagan, who were arrested at Lircrpooi on 31st March charged with illegally landing explosives from Cork, have been further examined and committed for trial. Berne, April 8. A terrible fire occurred to-day at Vallorve, in Canton, Vand, (Switzerland). The conflagration raged for several hours •and caused the destruction of 100 lives. Vienna, April 8. The burglars who attacked and strangled Herr De W r aglath, President of the Hungarian Court, at his residence last month' have been arrested by the police at Buda Pesth. Berlin, April 8. Intelligence is to hand from Duntzig that tbe river Vistula has overflowed its banks, and caused a serious inundation in the eit}' and surrounding country. Hundreds of persons have been driven from tluir homes, and much havoc has been caused in the city,
