County Notices ROAD AND BRIDGES CONSTRUCTION ACT, 1 882. THE Manawatu County Counci having made application unde the above Act, the poll of ratepayer "will be taken for each several wan as under : — -I: The work proposed to be lindertaken is the formation, metal ling and culverting Kirnboltor Road; distance about 267 chains: •estimate cost, £169!) 5s Gd ; forming /end metalling, bridging • and culverts of" Mackav's road ; nistance about 400 chains; estimt\e cost, £2814 10s. Both works situate within the IRidingof Kiwitea, iv the Manawatu County. 2. That the amcunt of Yearly payments required to be made is £112 17s; chat the special rate required to be made is one and a quarter farthing in the £ on the rateable value of the several properties within the Riding of Kiwitea, viz , the properties bounded on the south-west by the boundary of the Manchester Block, on th ■'. south-east by the Oroua Hiver, on the north by the Otaraakapua Block. ■3. That the plans s-pecifications and estimai.es of the cost of such works may be seen at the County Chambers, Foxton, dining ordinary business hours. 4. That the plans and specifications and estimates of such works may be seen at the County Chambers, Foxton, during ordinary business hours. 4. That the poll of the ratepayers within the above-named Riding, will tie taken on Wednesday, the ; 25th day of April, 1883, between the hours of nine in the forenoon and six in the afternoon at Feilding, Halcombe and Ashurst, at the several places to be hereafter notified.
