DISTRICT COUET, WANGANUI.
— w Sittings in Bankruptcy. Be Esteven Bellve.— Mr Prior moved for an order of discharge. The report of the trustee, W. P. Currie, stated that there was not the slightest probability of a dividend being declared, as the estate was hardly sufficient to meet the secured claims. There was no opposition, Tiie debtor was examined by the Court as to his transactions connected with the hotel at Feilding, an when order was made for his immediate discharge, and the usual ■costs allowed out of the estate. [We congratulate Mr Bellve on having so far successfully overcome the difficulties of his position, and we are glad io learn that he will continue to carry on the business of the Empire Hotel, and hope that a few prosperous years will reinstate him in his former position as sale proprietor.]
