Wheat.— First-class samples of Tuscan, in shipping lines, 4s 3d to 4s 4d per bushel, f.o.b; other wheat, 4s ld to 4s 3d; ; second quality samples, 3s lOd to 4s; chick wheat, 2s lOd to 8s 3d per bushel. Oats. — No activity siems to prevail in the market for this cereal, Samples, of good short milling are saleable at from 2s to 2s ld, delivered Christchurch; feed quality, Is lid to 2s, f.ob. Barley. —Really good malting samples at from 4s 4d to 4s 7d per bushel, >.econd samples, 3s lOd to 4s ; feed, 3s to Ss 3d. These quotations are all delivered Christ" church. Grass Seed. — Indifferently cleaned farmers samples are worth from 2s lOd to 3s 3d per bushel ; machine or towndressed samples 3s 4s to 3s 8d per bushel. Cheese and butt r. — The former is worth 5d to 6d per lo ; the latter 9d to !o£d per lb.
