RAILWAY RETURNS.
We compile the following returns from the Government (nazette of the Bth inst., showing traffic on the Wanganui section of railways for the four weeks ending Feb 3rd, 1883 :—
This return shows a diminution of £460 since January, but that excess was made by the extra passenger traffic during fche holidays. The above shows an increase over the receipts for the corresponding period last year.
