[BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. — COPYIUGHT.] REITTER'S TELEGRAMS. Eecieved March 8, 11.40 p.m.] Melbourne, This Day. An official telegram from LoDdon, dated 6th March, announces that the total tenders for the Victorian loan, (£3,400,000) amounted to £8,990,000. Tenders at 100J- will receive in full. Tenders at 2s premium will receive two per cent of allotment. Tenders averaged 3s 6d premium. Two teiiderr alone were for a million each. There were in all 510 tenders. The Government were obliged to give a pledge that the limit of the July loan should bo two millions. ihe local manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports of the local markets as follows : — "Wheat, os 3d to 5s sd, and is now in request at reduced prices. Malting barley is steady at 5s f d to 5s 6d. New Zealand oats are in good demand ; feeding, 2s lOd to 3s 6d. New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s 3d to 3s lid. In the Leg ; slative Assembly last night Mr Service's amendment, setting forth that the Ministry do not possess the confidence of the House, was carried without a division. It is expected the Ministry will resign to-day.
