STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. Feilding, Feb. 2. At our stock sale held here to-day, there were about 200 head of cattle and about 300 sheep yarded. The following prices were realized, afc and after the sale :— Beef, £7 ; 2-and-a-lialf year old steers, from £3 to £3 12s 6d ; yearlings, £1 12s 6d to £2 2s 6d; cows, from £2 10s to £4 10s. Sheep— But few sold, the reserves being rather high. Good store, ewes, 7s ; lambs, 5s 6d. Horses— A few hacks were sold at from £4 to £11. Wellington, February 27. Hassell and Co. report prices for past week as follows :— Flour, £11 ; oatmeal, £14 10s; pollard, £5 JOs; bran, £4; chaff, £3 10s ; potatoes, £4 10s ; onions, £6 per ton ; new oats, 2s 6d to 2s 9d ; old do, 2s to 3s : fowls' wheat, 3s to 3s 9d ; maize, 4s 9d per bushel ; hams and bacon, 9d to lOd ; butter, lOd to Is ; cbeese, 7d per lb ; eggs, Is 4d per dozen. Market is full of fruit — Peaches, 4s; pears, ss ; apples, 3s to 6s per case ; damsons, 4s 6d per bos ; fowls, 3s 6d to 4s per pair.
