o The Palmerston Horticultural Show is to be held on Thursday next. Mr Carfchew has been appointed agent for all Government publications. James Laird, of Wanganui, has a large shipment of grass seeds, clovers, &.., __c. Mr Haybittle will advertise further reductions in prices, to Cash Customers, in our next issue. The M. H. & P. S's. Autumn Show will be held in the Feilding Town Hall, on Wednesday, 7th MarchMr Crichton, of Glasgow House, will announce some startling reductions in our next issue. Tenders are invited for leasing the Foxton Ferry, from Ist April, 1883, to 31st March, 1884. The business notice of Mr Nettleship, (late King & Co) jeweller, of Wanganui, appears elsewhere. Mr J. C. Thompson's new advertisement appears on the fourth page. Fox ton lime can be bought at his store at 3s per bushel. A new advertisement from Mr Ainsworth, Corner Boot Shop. Wanganui, will appear in our next issue. The voting for the election of five Committeemen for the Borough of Feilding Licensing Bench, closes at 6 p.m. tonight. A meeting of householders will be held at the Schoolhouse, to-night, for the purpose of electing a new committed and receiving the annual report.
