FEILDING JOCKEY CLUB.
A public "meeting of the members of the Feilding Jockey Club was add at the Denbigh Hotel on Saturday last, Mr H. X Sherwill in the chair. Tire mimufer slot -the: last general meeting were read aad confirmed. The following new members were pro* posed ,an4-.»cc«pted.:-^- S. Cooper, J. fietd/G- Kirton, Pitiherbert, Seatoa, and P., Bartholomew. The Secretary reported that the club would have, ahout JB 175 to expend in prices | somewhat in excess of last year. The following is a list of the events : Handicap Hurdle Race, 25 sbvs; Hack Hurdle Race, £10; Maiden Plate, £20; Hack Race, t £7; FeUdinßYHaadieap, £70; Flying Handicap, £25; Consolation Proposed by Mr Miorphy, seconded by Mr Booth, That the above programme be adopted.— Carried. Tte foUowmgioffipers were eketed:^ F- Y. Lethbndge, Judge; John Stevens, M-H.R-. sta*^fJ R. W. Morphy, clerk of course ; " Mr Norman/c lerk of scales ; J. Chad wick, junior, handicapper. Stewaids: Messrs H. L. Sherwill, Downes, C. Roe senior, W. Campbell, R. Fearon, H. Booth, A. Dawson, G. Kirton, ahd H. ■Worsfold__- . Proposed by Mr Dawson, seconded by Mr Morpby, That the club advertise in the HeralE t.hronicle, and Fbilding St_lb, the committee to arrange terms.— Carried. .
