MEMORANDA.
■ o Halcombe and Sherwiil's stock sale takes place to-morrow. Mr R. Loudon will move into his new premises on the 17th instant. An election of five committeemen for the Borough of Feilding Licensing Committee, will be held on the 21st inst. The next sitting of the Feilding Assessment Court will be held at the Court House, Feilding, on the 14th of March. Peter Bell, the well-known draper of Wanganui, is now holding weekly Saturday sales. There will be a meeting of the members of the Manchester Cricket Club, on the 10th inst., at Roe's Hotel, at 7.30 p.m. The railway time-table has been altered to suit persons wishing to attend the Wanganui Regatta, on the 9th inst. A special train will be laid on to convey passengers to the sale at Carnarvon, on Friday next. An important notice to the ratepayers in the Manawatu Highway District, ap. pears elsewhere. The hall to be given by the Makino String Band takes place on Friday night, in the Town Hall. Tickets— 7s 6d.
