There is some excitement here over the exhibition of several diamonds and garnets, stated to have beeu found four miles from Auckland by Mr Shakespeare. Ourlnay and other experts are of opinion that they are from the KimVrley diamond fields, South Africa; but Shakespear denies this. He says he has sent some to Kngland.
