STEVENS AND GORTON'S STOCE: REPORT. Messrs Stevens and Gorton report that at their stock sale on Tuesday there was only a fair attendance owing to most of the farmers being engaged in harvesting. Some cattle and sheep advertised did not reach the yards in time for the sale. 'I he following prices were realized :—Yearlines, 47s 6d : 18 months, 50s ; sheep, 7s 6d; hacks, 655. About a hundred head altogether were quitted.
