A meeting re Oddfellows, will be held at Roe's Hotel, on Saturday night. Mrs Macquarie, of Palmers ton, wants a general servant. A valuation notice from the Town Clerk appears elsewhere. , Owners of dogs should register them at once, at th. Borough Council Office. The Jane Douglas leaves Foxton, for Wellington, to-night, after arrival of the train. Thomas G. Macarthy has been elected creditors' trustee in the estate of T. L. Harcourt, brewer, a debtor. Five committeemen have been elected for the Kiwitea and Mancheeter Licensing Districts. Halcombe and Sherwill will sell furniture, &c, at Mr Boundy's residence, on Saturday afternoon. There will be a meeting of the Feilding Jockey Club, on Saturday night, at the Denbigh Hotel. An advertisement from Reid and Grey in connection with the celebrated double furrow ploughs, appears on the Ist page.
