SPECIAL TO " STAR." [by >:li:ciric telegbaph. — copvbight.] better's teleguams. Londo.v, January 25. The first of the year's series of colonial wool auctions opens on February 20th. The arrivals to date comprise 110,000 bales. The total probable quantity to be offered, including a quantity held ovar from last sales is 270,000 bales. The quantity of new arrivals, to be iucluded in sales, has been restricted by the importers' committee to 250.0W bales. Messrs Healy and Davitt, who were pesterday required to find bail for (heir good behaviour or to be imprisoned for "six months, have refused to find the necessary securities, and they have consequently to undergo the iinprisoinent. Vienna, Jan. 25. The committee appo nted by the Chamber of Deputies to consider the Bill introduced by Government dealing with the question of the Bonopartist manifestoes has decided that the measure should provide th:t all Bonopartists suould be casheered from the ai'iny and expelled from the country. The Government, however, dissent from the finding of the committee.
