THE PALMER AND JONES CASE.

#. i This remarkable case, after dragging its weary length along for upwards of a week was brought to an end yesterday by the Registrar dismissing it. It was -stated by Mr Hawkins, who conducted the case for the plaintiffs, that he would appeal to a higher Court. It is highly probable that informations for perj ury will be laid as a natural sequence to some of the suspicious evidence prepared and produced by certain of the parties interested.
