THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.

j "Ox their own merits modest men are dumb." Candidates for Municipal honors in the Uorough of Feilding have always exhibited this admirable virtue t > a remarkable decree, and Messrs Daw, Wohsfold, and Hoe are no exceptions to the rule. *< either by a published address, nor by public speach, lias either of these gentlemen favored the ratepayers, who are expected to favor them by voting for them, with a single line or word to show that they have any views or opinions whatever on any subject affecting the interests of the .Borough. If candidates themselves do not take any interest in tin ir own return, they cannot be surprised at ihe electors showing apathy and indifference on the day of election.
