The Hon Ivo Bligh'i Eaglish eleven I commenced a match to-dny, ayainst an eleven of Victori;i. I lie Englishmen went first to tlie wiekef, and remained in until late in the afternoon. The. following are the scores:—*'. B. Studd, 1; Bates, 44 ; K. T. Studd, 50 ; Barlow, 44 ; Steele, 2 ; Barnes, 8 ; Hcid, 1 ; Tyleeote, 37 ; Leslie, 57 j Veriion, 9 ; Morley, 10 ; extras, 4; total, 273. Later. The Vietorans commenced their first innings late in the afternoon, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had put together 16 runs for the loss of two wickets. A cricket match between the ltaugitikei and Feilding Cricket Clubs was being played this afternoon, as we went to press. The Bangitikei men were first to the wickets, nnd were all disposed of for 27 runs. The Feilding men then went to the wickets, and put together 53 in their first innings. Nix, of Feilding, took seven wickets iv the first innings of the Bulls team. Uis bowling was greatly admired.
