Mr D. E. Lowers' new advertisement appears on our first page. Anniversary services will be held in the Weslcyan « hureh on the 26th inst. A notice from the Mayor re the Clerk to the Bench, appears elsewhere. There will he sports in Palmerston on New Year's Day. The owner of n key can have the same on applying at this otlice. Mr C. V. Furrie, of Foxton, has 4 acre Kiwilea sections to sell or exchange. Mr J. C. Thompson is going to start business in his old shop. An election of one Councillor for the Borough of Feilding, will be held on Wednesday next. The business notice of F. London, Commission Agent, etc., of Foxton, appears iv another column. Messss Halcombe and Sherwill will hold a sa'e of stock at Halcombe, on Thursday, the 23rd November. Stevens and Gorton's next stock sale will be held at their yards, Feilding, on Tuesday, November 28th. An application for Benjamin Parkes' discharge, will be made on the 27 lh day of November. The Spring Sliow of the Manchesler Horticultural Society will be held on Wednesday, the 6th of December. A meet ing of the parishioners of the Church of Kngland will be held in the Immigration Barracks, on Monday night. The new spring and summer goods in great variety are now opened up.
