The harvest commenced a week ago, and wil soon be general. Hay was almost unprecented in quan tity, but -.reatly injured by the rain, and much it still out. Koots promise well, except potataes. Hops almost a total failure, but the present brilliant weather will save some. Some tarmt- hope the year, on the whole, will be a moderate success ; others, chiefly in hop districts, hold an opinion quite the reverse. The per centaere of estimates is ai follows ; — wheat, average 59, over the average, 2:1, under the a-erage, 18; barley, average 61, over the average 28, u» der tbe average 1 1; oats, average 51, over the average 37, under the average 12.
