THE BOROUGH ELECTIONS.
♦ We congratulate the burgesses in returning Messrs Shebwill, Goodbkhejrb, And S. J. Thompson, to represent them in "the Borough Council, and fill the vacancies made by the retirement of Messrs Baker, Johnston, and P. Thomson. Out of the seven candidates a better selection could not hare been made. We also congratulate. Jthe existing members of the Council on having three good men to share with them the labors and responsibilities of I the position of Borough Councillors.
